Every month we collaborate with artists locally and nationally to create unique and one-of-a-kind pieces exclusively for The Slow Era. These include upcycled and handmade clothing, jewelry, accessories, original artwork, and home goods.
The Slow Era is for people who are ready to usher in a new era that opposes the corporate, consumerist framework which steals from artists, devalues objects, and mass produces poorly-made items for profit at the expense of workers and the planet.
The Slow Era is run by Malena, who has an art background and 15 years of experience buying and selling vintage.
As a small business, we aspire for our shop to provide unique items built to last and meant to be cherished, while celebrating creators, promoting community over competition, and sustainability for both the planet and ourselves.
